Disclosing medical conditions

Options
I have an illness that comes under a group heading and I can and have obtained travel insurance quotes under that group heading and also under the specific name of the medical condition. The results have produced significant cost differences, am I legally able to declare the medical condition which gives the lowest cost. I have previously taken insurance declaring the more costly condition. We are talking about differences of £100.00.

You really ought to be completely honest with insurers. It can backfire spectacularly if you need to make a claim which gets declined because you didn't fully disclose your condition - if that should unfortunately happen, it's likely that you would be out of pocket for thousands.

Sorry not to be more encouraging.

Not sure what you mean here. If there are several conditions under a group heading and you choose to declare the cheapest one (which you don't have) instead of the more expensive one (which you do have), you won't be covered surely?

Declare everything when asked specifically, anything else is fraud and you risk not being covered and having your insurance cancelled and meaning you will find it difficult getting ANY kind of insurance
