    I expect it'll get messed up at some point so will take the multi-pronged approach and speak to them (reasonable terms) and to the local postie.
    If there's a regular postie doing the round it's worth talking to him too. Mine is very helpful, as was my mum's when dementia meant we had her mail redirected to my sister. He would double check mail befor putting it through the letter box.

    Give your vendors a sheet of printed labels with your new address to make it more likely they will forward items that miss the redirect.

    I'm still receiving monthly Amex statements from the US for the previous owner of our house because they're $5 in credit on their account .... 13 years and counting. I packed in redirecting more than a decade ago.
