Co-operative Online Banking

Options
Hi Guys,

I'm thinking of switching my bank to Co-operative. One of the main things (OK, only thing) I like about my current bank is the online banking has an option to export statements as .CSV files and I can open them in excel.

Does anyone know if the Co-opertive's online banking allows you to do this

Thanks!

    Yes it does.

In the "transactions" screen you can simply export all transactions from the last 12 months into a .csv file

Alternatively, you can search by transaction type, keyword or date first before exporting a .csv file

The headings in the .csv file are
    Date
    Description
    Type
    Money In
    Money Out
    Balance

Separately, in the statements section the last 7 years of statements are saved as pdf files - one statement for every 25 transactions.

    Hope that helps.

I do this on a weekly basis so is it possible rather than just the last year?

How do you find the mobile banking app?

You have the choice of all available, last 2 weeks, last month, last three months or last year. Odd you can't choose specific start and end dates but I suppose a quick highlight and delete on the csv file isn't too arduous.

I find the app fine - transfers and payments are dead easy. You can make quick one off payments to a new sort code / account number ( up to a max of £250 in 24 hours) without logging in to full website. Friends have always received their money in a few minutes.

Post office cash deposits appear instantly, too, unlike some banks.

The full website banking is very smartphone friendly. You do need the card reader device for certain transactions.
