I checked my TSB account again and even though it said Faster Payments, it's now listed under DD. Wonder if I should move one of my other DD's if that's the case.0

I'm going to set up a business selling £5 notes on eBay for £4.99 posted free plus VAT of course0
-
I should add that some accounts, at least, only require an active DD (i.e one that's paid out in the last 13 months) and that there are plenty of companies that accept Paypal as payment. 95% of my Paypal transactions are to or from non-ebay. So in theory you only need to buy something once every 13 months and I assume that covers sending money to friends who can pay you back0

Oh no, I've come on here to check what's happening as I normally make quite a few PayPal payments to myself on the first of each month to satisfy DD requirements but I get an error every time I've tried over the last 3 days0
-
What's the minimum you can pay a friend? 1p? Also, do I need to withdraw all the money from my PayPal account first so it doesn't take the money from my PayPal balance?0

I just pay my sister by send money and then she sends it back to me and I withdraw it and put it into the account that will send the money to PayPal.
My sister receives the money instantly I get it back instantly and I put it into the account which takes three days to pay out.

Just tried the PP app. Using DD seems to work. I received the same confirmation emails as before (when the DD option was there on the PP website).
In August/September 2017 the DD option disappeared on the PP website. I was able to use the PP app to bypass this, i.e., I was able to add money to my PP account using DD through the PP app.
Now, I'm getting the following messageWe're having some trouble completing your request at the moment.
Anyone with the same problem here?0 -

Its been removed hence the message.
You will need to use PayPal to pay for something then the DD will still come out.
You can no longer pay PayPal account via DD using the app or the website.
I think they have cottoned onto people using it for DD (maybe)
