Good morning all
Newbie here, I have read the Newbie post and am getting really confused. Hoping someone can give me some advice.
Bit unusual, this one.
I took hubby's car to LIDLs last week to do my shopping. His car is much bigger than mine and he is currently working abroad.
i normally shop in another well known retailer so was unfamiliar with the layout and subsequently took much longer with doing the shopping than i normally would, coupled with browsing all the 'bargains' (maybe not so much a bargain after all). I spent in excess of £120 and I did not go into any other shops (our LIDL is on the outskirts of our town centre).
I stayed 15 minutes in excess of the 90 minutes posted on the signs.
Whilst hubby is away, I have his permission to open his post in case something needs urgent attention, as this does.
A week ago, he received a parking notice from Athena ANPR Ltd and it was my intention to leave this until he returned next Monday (just within the 14 days for the 'reduced' fee).
However, he is now informing me that he could be away for a further week so I am unsure how to proceed. I cannot appeal as the registered keeper as I am not that person, I cannot go into the store to complain as I am obviously not the registered keeper - I am the wrong gender and the internet connection where he is is sketchy at best.
What should be my next move? Do I just pay it and learn from it?
I would be grateful for any advice you can give me

0800 977 7766* / 0370 444 1234 Phone Lidl customer services, they will cancel. Do not say who was driving.0

Nothing unusual about this at all - The Newbies Sticky covers the process completely.
First-up, don't be suckered by the "discount" offer. Its just a ruse.
Secondly, strong complaint to Lidl's MD should see you sorted - have you got a receipt or statement you can prove payment from?

But as the car's registered to hubby, surely it should be him, as the registered keeper, to do the complaining but is unable to as he is in India.
Data Protection Act would put a stop to them discussing anything with me - I've had this before regarding letters to do with his pension and his share accounts that needed attention
Receipt is in my purse, showing checkout time as 7 minutes prior to me leaving the car park. Just about enough time to get back to car, load shopping, return trolley and leave the car park0 -
Just ring as advised. The driver is primarily responsible.0

The NEWBiES thread's very first link is 'successful complaints to PPCs' and when you click on it and read the latest posts at the end from August, there is a Lidl one and how to cancel it, and which email address to use, as discussed umpteen times every time anyone mentions the word Lidl here on this board. But as the car's registered to hubby, surely it should be him,
Send a complaint email with both your names at the bottom...this is so easy to cancel. Even the CEO's name and email is here on the forum, as described above. The only thing we refuse to supply is a template complaint email because that is seriously desperate and ridiculous!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

you are the AUTHORISED KEEPER
the hubby is the REGISTERED KEEPER
just complain and appeal as mentioned above , as keeper
use receipts and bank statements to get LIDL to cancel it using GARACE PERIODS and as an actual customer0
