I recently received an email from a legitimate charity offering me a 25% discount on a ticket (as a previous customer). I clicked the link and found that they were offering a 15% discount to everyone but that the code they had given me to get 25% did not work.

I called them and told them and they said they were working on the problem. Two weeks later the code was still rejected so I purchased with the 15% discount.

I sent an email telling them the problem still existed and they said they were still working on. There was no offer of a refund which I would have declined anyway.

If I were dealing with a non-charity I would be outraged at their attitude. But because its a charity I shrug my shoulders and say never mind!

What would you do, if anything?
Few people are capable of expressing with equanimity opinions which differ from the prejudices of their social environment. Most people are incapable of forming such opinions.
