Joint tenants or Tenants in Comnon

Hope I've got the terminology correct, but this is often referred to regarding the status of people who have an 'interest' in a property.
Moreover, as far as I've seen - this doesn't refer to 'rented' but 'owner occupier' property.
So, wondering which I was, finally found the Land Registry notice.
Curious - no mention of 'joint' or 'tenants in common' - just states Proprietor: followed by mine & my Partner's name!
I'd assume from that it's in 'joint names'.
Anyone disagree? Or any other comments.

Under your names does it say something like
'Restriction -no disposition by a sole proprietor under which capital money arises...'
If so, tenants in common, if not, joint tenants. Neither of those terms is ever used on the land registry entries.:heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls

Correct re the final sentence but the register is not the definitive detail as to whether you are JTs or TICs
You can be TICs without a form A restriction being registered - the form A is the restriction being quoted
You can also have a form A restriction and be JTs as either it was added by default as no details were given on registration. Or you may have registered it and circs have changed since but it wasn't removed.

The only 'restriction' quoted is in relation to the Building Society for the Mortgage - which has been paid off.
I believe we are 'joint' it would be nice to be able to see that.
The 'gov' website refers you to the Land Registry, and to 'property transfer documents' - but from the documents I've been through from the Conveyancer - it just mentions our two names.
So, again 'Joint' is implied.I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard0 -

The land register primarily deals with the legal ownership. Whether you are JTs or TICs relates to the beneficial ownership. And the beneficial ownership can change in a myriad of ways hence the need to check various documents and also actions of either or both joint proprietors.
A change to the legal ownership is far more clear cut as it has to be formalised by a legal deed that does exactly what it says it does That is not the case with your beneficial ownership“Official Company Representative
