Clothes trashed on flight - what to expect?

I disagree slightly as is it their job to clean the aircraft between each flight - checking seats etc is part of that - they admitted they did not do this and as a result i had an uncomfortable journey.

The point in contest is not that they didn't clean it, the point here is that if it was so noticeable that it's awful they left it there then it would have been noticeable when you went to sit down and yet you opted to do it, it doesn't clearly sound like this was the case but the point was if you did that then you would just be as liable as the airline if you noticed it and chose to do nothing about it (besides sit on it)0
