Hair salon refused refund

Hi guys.

Need help and don't know what to do.
I paid the hairdresser for hair extensions which she ordered and booked and appt to get it done. Time and time again she had excuses to move the appointment and it's been going for almost two weeks. I said yesterday after she canceled on me that it's either today or I'll have to ask for my money back! Today it happened again and I said I want a refund as I can't be waiting everyday all day for her to then tell me she won't do it. It's been giving me a bad anxiety as I feel everyday she'll cancel on Me and I have no hair or no money. Enough is enough. She refuses to give me money back as apparently won't be able to return the hair. Now she doesn't take answer my calls. I feel really anxious going to that salon in person demanding the money? Is there anything I can do to scare her a bit into refunding me the money or any further action I could take ? I have messages between me and her with her bank details and excuses when she has been cancelling on me all the time and also I. And statement proving I transferred the money to her.

Give her a "time is of the essence letter" stating you want it done within 14 days or you will take her to the small claims court.

That's about all you can do really.

Try standing outside the salon and relating your story in a loud voice to passers-by.
  • Is there no way of getting it done any faster ?

Go kick a fuss up at the salon until you annoy her enough she pays you off....if you can't do this...then no

  • Ask her for the hair extensions you have paid for and go to another salon to get them fitted?
