handheld trackball mouse

I am looking for a decent quality (wired) handheld trackball mouse - suitable for use with a laptop (Win 10)

These are cheap - but are they any good / long lasting ?

if it is not optical and works with rollers rather than bouncing light beams i would avid it like the plague. Remember the first dew versions of mice with rollers you had to rattle, bash and clean to keep them working?

I have a trackball mouse, similar to that - for my desktop
