Hi all,
Bit of a dilemma here.
I've got a switch completing tomorrow from TSB to Co-Op for the £125 incentive.
I have 4 DDs, all at different amounts, with 2 DDs each going to two popular supermarket savings accounts I hold.
All 4 of the DDs have been taken today, however on the list of DDs for the TSB account, its only showing as 2 DDs.
What seems to have happened, is the first DD has been overwritten by the second DD to the same account! So I have all 4 on my statement, but only 2 on the list. Even though they are for different values.
So when the switch completes tomorrow, Co-Op are only going to see the 2 on the list and deem that I dont qualify for the incentive. I have a PayPal DD setup so there is 3 on the list, but still wont meet the criteria for 4 DDs.
Is there anything I can do? I can go to a branch and show them the statement showing that 4 DDs have left the account. I can't think what else I could do?
Any help greatly appreciated!
Thanks

The fact that two DD mandates have been called twice each doesn't make it four actual mandates (hence just two showing at TSB), so ultimately you only have three out of the four that you need to qualify for the Co-op switching incentive, although ironically your setup would qualify for their Everyday Rewards bonus once up and running as this has slightly different wording in the Ts & Cs.Is there anything I can do? So, I can't believe that a branch visit would accomplish anything - the only thing I can think of would be to phone Co-op and ask if they can delay the completion of the switch, although realistically it's probably too late for that....0 -

post 25.Thanks. I think the method I used was to create a new payment on the Tesco account and give it a different nickname. The additional DDs can be set to the same bank account and the date can be the same too.0 -
I don't recall having the option to set a nickname but its done now.
Seems like I'll have to switch another account if I want to get the incentive in the near future.
All very handy to know anyhow.
