Natwest Slow to Show Debit Card Transactions?

If I spend using my Natwest debit card, it takes a few days for the transactions to show up in my online banking.
Is this normal or do other banks display this information instantly?
I have a Curve card and that shows the transactions instantly on the app on my phone - why can't Natwest do something similar?
I find the delay quite annoying as I'm living in a bit of a knife edge so the delay can trip me up.
Is it just Natwest? Or can I find a 'faster' debit card? Thanks!

Use pen and paper to keep track of your spending or tak out x amount a week and use cash.0

With an offline card, unless the transaction exceeds a certain threshold, the card issuer doesn't know that the transaction has taken place until the payee submits a claim. This is true for all issuers of such cards. Cards for most full bank accounts work offline.
Some cards are online which means that the payee checks with the card issuer before accepting the payment. However, the use of such cards is limited as they cannot be accepted for transactions where the card issuer cannot be immediately contacted.
Optimum is a pre-payment card which in my experience immediately reduces the available balance immediately a transaction occurs.0
