hi
I am helping a friend who has 19k of debt on 4 credit cards he is noton the electoral registor but has a good credit score on expieran as he never misses his payment
We have transferd this debt to 12 months 0% short term but would like to transfer to longer term 0% for 36months
we have done a elegibility check on mse and mbna come ot 95% acceptence and tesco 80% accaptence
my questions are
do we wait till the end of the current 0% offer bearing in mind there maybe less months at 0%
whats the likehood of getting 2 cards with 8k limit on them
how will mulaple apllication affect his credit rating

I would pay down some debt before attempting to get more.
The limits he gets will be based on his income and credit history, as well as existing debts.
Applications will appear as searches on his files. Too many can make him look desperate.0 -
Thanks it is a long shot i know
He is now starting to make progress paying the debt off due to the 0%
But long term need 36months at 0% to clear his debt0 -
Has he now put himself on the electoral roll?
Where do you / he think the economy is headed?
A downturn and a credit crunch may mean that 0% will be harder to get in 12 months.
Let the good times roll and it may be easy to BT in 12 months.
So how is your crystal ball?0
