Remove integrated Fridge freezer?

We're a family of soon to be 5, and we've bought a house off a couple.

However, the fridge freezer is tiny (a small hotpoint thing), am I right in thinking that it's possible for a kitchen person to rip all of this out and the wine bottle holder things to put a bigger fridge freezer in? And just replace/trim the worktop and wood surround.

You would have to cut your worktop also. I suppose the place to start is to measure the space available after you remove the bottle carriers and see if you can source a F/F of that size.

It appears to be set into an alcove, formed by an unused chimney breast?

If so, to use the space taken by the wine rack and corresponding shallow shelves above, you'd have to take the chimney breast out . . .
  • Do you have a garage? Could you buy a large integrated fridge to replace existing appliance and a freezer for garage?

The wall to the left is the remains of a dividing wall between kitchen and dining area, it forms an L and runs behind the fridge, would remove the remains but it's supporting, surveyor expected it to carry on where the little wall ends but that was just stud and has been removed.

To help with layout the stairs then pass diagonally above the first cupboard after the little shelves.

Sadly, garage is full with my trackday car and associated bits.

Thanks for confirming what I thought, removing the intergrated cabinet looks to me that I could leave the gap at 65cm without touching anything else allowing for a much more family friendly fridge.
