Ryanair - trip to Budapest

I see from Martin's article Ryanair's current sale includes Budapest as a destination!

Does anyone know where you have to depart from? I can't find the free flights anywhere!

It may be available as a sale destination but not from any GB airports - Budget Flightchecker shows routes from Bristol and the London airports, none of which have any 2p flights.

Did you try doing a booking FROM Budapest to find out where they fly?

Or click on "desinations" then click on "Budapest"

Interesting that budget flightchecker isn't producing info for three of those airports just now... a shame skyscanner doesn't seem to be identifying the 2p flights

Ryanair don't fly to Budapest from ANY London airport - they do fly from Prestwick, Liverpool, East Midlands & Bristol

Hi Alan, the three airports I was referring to were Glasgow, EMA and Liverpool; when I originally posted I was using the flightchecker as a 'catch all' search facility to find cheap flights routes, and then those under £1 - there are London routes but no Ryanair ones, I mentioned all that were apparently available in case Thomas plans on visiting Hungary irrespective of the sale - as flightchecker didn't acknowledge the existence of these three routes it does seem to be a limiting factor in using flightchecker to locate any 2p flights.

Is there a way I can get to Budapest for pennies? I'm happy to depart from any airport (will take a Mega bus there)!

From E Mids, Budapest is listed as from £17.99, so I doubt it will be in the 1p sale from another airport.

You'll have to report back if you book, it is somewhere I really fancy going next year! x
