So basically you're a scammer - that's why you can't go to into the reasons you can't go to the retailer.
I'm glad karma has got you - maybe it's a lesson in being honest next time eh!
Enjoy your broken TV.0 -

Odd that the TV isn't on it's stand and simply propped up on a bed.
Most likely been wall mounted. The question now is was the TV being moved and that's how it got damaged and why it's not on the wall or did it get damaged on the wall and has been taken down for diagnostics and to take pictures.0 -
I wonder if the replies from the OP in this thread will get deleted.0

Ha ha ...........been caught with his fingers in the till, thieving git!
Best add back the original for contextMy Samsung TV has a glitched display as you can see in the picture below. However there's no physical damage to the screen as you can see by the 2nd picture. I contacted Samsung to claim on the 1 year's manufacturer guarantee but they refused to fix or replace it. They said that I must have dropped it to cause that problem in the picture. I did NOT. I just turned it on one day and it was glitched.
Are they legally required to fix or replace the TV?

More generally, I think the OP's apparent activities are a slightly skewed interpretation of the MSE ethos. The aim is not to out-smart large companies at all costs. The aim (I think) is to do mutually agreeable business with them in ways that are fair, lawful and represent good value for money. This being against a background where the typical large organisation seems to have lost the plot on such things (or at least have scope for negligence in delivering them).0
