Changing locks

Options
We're changing the chubb lock on the front door and changing the pvc back door lock to a ss13 diamond standard lock. Quote is £205 for parts and labour.

Asked another company but they didn't get back to me.

Thanks.

Agreed. The front door lock might be a little bit trickier if it need the woodwork modifying, but the Euro locks in upvc doors really are simple to change.

are you changing the locks ? (just the barrel on the chubb . If so simple job you could bo yourself . If you have the back door key a real simple 5 minute job . buying a decent lock/barrel for both will cost less than £60 although eurocell have anti snap pvcu locks in all common sizes for less than a tenner

    Call a Joiner.
99.9% of all locks are fitted by a joiner, they are door furniture.
A lock smith is for when you have a locked door and no keys.

Locksmiths fit locks too ! & locksmiths change locks over . But a general handyman should do it cheaper its not difficult if you fancy having a go yourself . Back door is one screw (normally)
