Hi.
Thought I would be brave and start a diary of my own. I have been reading diaries for the last few weeks and find they give me great motivation.
I've titled this diary SAH (Stay At Home) Mum on a Mission. I really need to clear my debts, it's not pretty. I owe just over £18,000 on 6 credit cards, will do a post another time on exactly what they are, the shocking thing is that my Lloyds is 29.9%, the others range from 25% down to 6.9% life of balance on my B'card.
I have made some small overpayments the last 6 months or so but am getting nowhere fast.
For now I will just add a bit about myself. I am 48 (49 in Feb). I have three daughters aged 13, 12 and 9.
I have not worked since 2004 when I gave up work to have my first daughter, was due to go back after maternity leave but when she was 4 months old I found out I was pregnant with DD2 so did not go back and had to pay the money back.
I had DD3 in 2008.
I was self employed from 2006 to 2012 and sold children's clothing on Ebay.
Have got some things to get listed on Ebay, need to have a good sort out when kids go back to school to see what I can find to get listed.
Anyway, will do another post with my debts, how much I owe etc and interest rates. Really hoping I can get motivation to crack on.

Hi SAH Mum on a Mission,
Just saying hello as I have today started a diary, looks like we are both at the same stage (and think I have a similar amount of debt - is it bad that I don't know!)
I am spending the BH weekend sorting my paperwork and adding up my debt!
