Faulty Trainers - No box, no receipt

I bought a pair of Nike trainers in a well-known high street store about a month ago. They were full price and £69.99. I have worn them about three times.
This morning as I pulled them on, the loop at the back of the heel came away.
I don't have the box or receipt but can probably find the transaction on my bank statement.
Is that enough for the store to replace them?

Thanks

It's enough to show proof of purchase.

    Great stuff, thank you.

I did consider just cutting the loop off but they really are almost new. The design of the shoe means you need the loop to full them on because the tongue bit is joined both sides.
