Cheapest Vista Business to Ultimate Upgrade

I've just bought a Dell Laptop with Vista Business installed.
I did'nt realise when I ordered it that Vista Business is not too great for entertainment stuff, as It does not have windows media player etc.

Does anyone know the cheapest way to upgrade to Vista Ultimate?

Thanks in advance

You could just download WMP. I suppose that's the cheapest. I don't know what other differences there are between them?

Don't know if doing it through Microsoft is your only viable cheapest option:

If you just need to be able to play DVDs then simply download the free VLC player.
  • The only differences between Business, Enterprise and Ultimate are the following
    • DVD authoring
    • Media Center (centre)
    • Movie Maker HD Publishing
    • Subsystem for UNIX-based Applications
    • Secure Startup
    • Single Session Virtual PC
    • Multi-Language User Interface (MUI)
Ultimate has the above, the others don't

If it is DVD authoring you want, then use Nero

Business N was not supplied with WMP and other media related apps to comply with European Anti trust rules, so you can blame EU for that

I think I'll stick with Vista Business for a while and see how I get on.
I'll get a copy of nero and look for a media player to download.

    Thanks for all the replies.

You can buy the Vista ultimate as an OEM version from many online computer stores, it's 100% legal and costs around £98, better than £400 for the one with a pretty box, you can of course get it free, and fully working, but that's naughty and I would guess not for this site to promote.
