Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.

If you can do away with the copy/scan facility as well I'd suggest an entry level mono laserprinter, don't have any links but Samsung and Brother do them in that price range.I hate football and do wish people wouldn't keep talking about it like it's the most important thing in the world0

Brother HL2135W is what I have (I also have a colour inkjet) and have found it great - USB / wireless and has cheap toners - you can even re-fill the toner yourself if you want.
Think I paid £49 for it about 4 years ago.0 -
I also have a Samsung XPress mono laser printer (older model, M2022), it's great and the toner cartridges from 3rd parties work fine with it, so running costs are low and it's pretty fast too.0

There are a few different models in the Samsung Xpress range, though all basically similar. Just a bit of price variation depending on whether they have wireless, or just wired, duplexing etc.0

Just checked Amazon, the Samsung SL-M2026 mono laser is only £33.87 delivered. It looks very much the same as my 2020 and is 20 ppm. A bargain. Not sure about 3rd party cartridges for that model, but should be OK.0

It does look good I agree - assume it's local only though i.e. no built in networking?0 -

It takes the D111S toner and yes plenty of aftermarket ones available, a quick google search give prices around £18-£20 and the yield is 1000 pages and it's worth bering in mind that quoted mono laser cartridge yields are far more accurate than quoted inkjet yields.I hate football and do wish people wouldn't keep talking about it like it's the most important thing in the world0 -

Yes it's coming back to me now - the W suffix means wireless, and N means wired network.0
