Making a credit card payment on someone else's behalf

Hi,

Is it possible to make a credit card payment on someone else's behalf?
I am currently stuck abroad and won't be able to make a payment before the due date. I was thinking of asking a friend to make the payment on my behalf.

Thanks for your responses.
I'm afraid I cannot make an online payment or use the telephone banking.
That's why I was thinking of asking a friend to make the payment on my behalf. Would this be acceptable?

Yes, cash would be easiest assuming they have your statement?

Maybe. Maybe not. It depends on who the credit card is issued by and what facilities exist for cash payments to be made.
