CCJ not showing

I'm hoping that someone can help and stop me from going mad :rotfl:

Basically i have received letters from Arrow Global saying that i have a CCJ and owe them £249.49 the CCJ apparently comes from a bill in 1999 which they say was being paid until 2007? I have no idea what this is or even who for. They have said that a CCJ was obtained on 24th Feb 2012... Now i have checked my credit file on a number of occasions over the years and there has never been a CCJ issued.

I have checked trust online - noodle - experian and clear score.... Not a single one advises that there is a CCJ issued.

If as they are saying this was issued in 2012 this would be on my file surely?

I am getting to the end of my tether with them tbh and have said i want them to prove that i have this CCJ and all i get back from them is a letter saying that it's my job to find the details of it and that they want the money.

Can anyone help with either a letter template that i can use or even advise why it isn't showing on my credit file if one was actioned?

I would like to point out as well that they have spelt my name incorrectly on all correspondence.

It's likely they have confused you with someone else they are trying to track down.

You have recently written to me regarding a county court judgement you say was granted against me in 2012.

I am writing to let you know that no such CCJ exists on any of my credit files, nor does it appear at trustonline, further more i have no knowledge whatsoever of the debt you allege this relates to.

To all intents and purposes the account you have contacted me about is not mine, i believe i am the victim of a mis-trace on your part, the name you have used is not my name either.

I would expect your company to of used due diligence to make sure the person you are writing to is the person you are seeking, clearly something here has gone wrong, as this is a serious data protection breach.

Please treat this matter as a formal complaint.

I look forward to your resolution of this matter.

You will have to include your name/address/DOB etc in order for them to look into this, was the address correct ?

have you moved around much ?

I have moved a couple of times but it wasn't like every 6 months it was a min of 3 years at each property... I've always been on the electoral roll as well so i've not been hiding.
