Past year has been rough for me due to my depression and i have found myself homeless, I have been for the past year, and i went in to my doctors on advice if they think i would be well enough to work, they said no and recommended pip, however i am worried as i am homeless and the group of people that are letting me go between and couch surf are on benefits like pip and i dont want to give one of their address out as a place where i pick up my mail incase they lose there benefits, can someone help me as I have never had to go do stuff like this because i had a savings account set aside for a rainy day and have never been this situation before

PIP isn't an out of work benefit, the disabled equivalent of job seekers allowance is called Employment support allowance (ESA). I'd apply for both or at least look at both sets of criteria and see if you meet them.
You can tell the job centre that you're homeless and sofa surfing, they can help you out as registering you with "no fixed abode" and giving you an address for your post to go to (usually c/o the job centre).0 -

It's actually very rare for the JC to allow their address to be used for mail, and if they do will generally expect the person to attend every day. I'm not saying it isn't worth asking, but prepare to be disappointed.0 -
If apply for ESA you would also need a sick/fit note from your GP.0

Used to be a fairly normal thing, most homeless were attending daily anyway to see housing officers or get emergency loans. Shows how much things have changed in 10 years0
