Had a look but couldn't find this anywhere else on the site..
Sorry if i'm being daft but do you have to run a business to have a Costco account?
Also, how much in bulk do you have to buy (have vision of my little mid-terrace crammed full to the rafters with toilet roll!)
Thanks for any help, am trying to do one 'big shop' per month

Hi
Just thought I'd add that trade members can add up to six additional cards to their membership (in addition to their spouse I believe) so if you know a trade member it can be worth asking them if they have any spare.
You'll be restricted to renewing your card at the same time as their renewal is due but it does mean you'll effectively be a trade member too so can get in to the earlier opening hours - when there's free drinks and food :j
Plus, you'd be surprised who can join as a trade member - it's worth checking. My daughter's child minder is a member so I got to join through her.
There's a bit more info on this Costco page
Hope that helps
Andrea
PS, not sure if that's why you mentioned toilet roll but when I went on Thursday there was actually an offer on, I saw some people going through the tills with a trolley just full of loo roll!! I don't know if it's still on this week though, sorry!Could you do with a Money Makeover?

The annual membership fee is £20.00 (plus VAT) for the primary cardholder, which includes a spouse card. The first six additional cards are £12.00 (plus VAT) each. Each additional card thereafter is £20.00 (plus VAT)
I see in the terms and conditions they say
"Only members with valid membership cards may purchase items at Costco, although we welcome two guests per cardholder."
As there isn't a Costco anywhere near Lincolnshire it really wouldn't be worth my while joining but I think I may consider asking people on their way into Costco if I could be their "Guest" for a day.My weight loss following Doktor Dahlqvist' Dietary Program
