Phone wire coming into house has been shatterd and has now left a big hole. Anyone know where i can replace for cheap? Hopefully the hole not causing issues.

The wire looks ok, I assume you mean the pipe that protects it? You'll be able to replace it but you'd have to disconnect the wire to do it. Can you use something else to shield the cable and to stop rainwater going into the open pipe?Phone wire coming into house has been shatterd and has now left a big hole. Yes i mean the half pipe protrcting the wire. Not sure how deep the hole goes but cant see the bottom. Was hoping somone knew where to source a new protector from.0

To be fair you only need a bit of protection for the wire. A bit of 40mm plastic pipe would do it.

Cut it down the back to fit it over the wire and choose a suitable way of fixing it.0 -
Everything up to the main connection point is BT's and you should not tamper with it.For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple and wrong.0

....is the right answer.Everything up to the main connection point is BT's and you should not tamper with it.
It was like that when you bought the house.
The cable is adequate protection from the elements. Presumably the pipe is there to aid replacement, which would normally happen once in a blue moon.0 -
Ill give BT a call then and see if they can fix0

BT wouldn't have fitted the plastic pipe/protection. My guess would be the house builder.
As others have said - just use a suitable size plastic pipe - a few quid to fix.0 -
B&Q sell trunking
6cm should suffice:

Remove the middle plastic cover and run trunking down from the inlet to the pipe. Buy a piece of pipe corner for the bottom and saw a hole in it so the cable comes out the top into the trunkingChanging the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.0
