Buying in a foreign currency

in Credit cards
Hi Everybody!
I obtained a Halifax Clarity Credit Card due to the 'we will give you £20 credit after your first bill' offer.
I had to ask them why my 20 quid hadn't been credited and the lady told me that I had to spend 'in foreign currency' before I got the credit. Well, Ive already been on my hols and I now need to use the card by buying something in a foreign currency while I live in the Uk.
Any ideas please?
Thank you.

Use amazon.fr/de/sp to buy something you need - I'm guessing amazon would ship internationally?

I am not sure that buying from Amazon USA and paying in dollars would work. It says in the T&C use the card abroad. You would be using the card in the UK but buying from abroad. Not sure that's the same.0

As this has dropped down the OS board, I've moved it to the Credit card board, to see if you can get any other suggestions
Hope you get sorted
