Scrapping Car

My old Rover is ready to be pensioned off, not worth repairing so I aim to scrap it. Photo ID is needed to do this.
I being an oldie have not got a photo licence nor a passport(just an old out of date one). I do have a local council issued photo ID.
Can I actually scrap the car? If not what do I do?

I scrapped my Rover last year. I did it all online. I told them where to collect it and they picked it up, took it away and paid me. I was abroad at the time and didn't have to show any ID.

I can't remember the site I used. It may have been removemycar.co.uk
