    If it was 2 eggs, you wouldn't see the yolk, just the white on the outside. It's quite clearly one egg that's been sliced in half.
    If it sticks, force it.
    If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.

    It's quite clearly two eggs cut in half and the better looking halves used in one photo. The lack of symmetry of the two halves demonstrates this.

    If anyone has ever been served food that looks like the photo I'd be :eek:

    Do two halves from different eggs make one egg?

    The description linked to by the OP describes it as "New poached egg, succulent pork sausage, Beechwood≠ smoked back bacon and melted cheese. Dreamy."

    Poached egg. Singular.

    I agree that the picture may be misleading, showing the roll in the best possible light, but that is one egg ultimately. It's like when you see sandwiches front-filled across the cut live with nothing in the back.
