    So you're paying a very cheap rate for 71% of your electricity use and the problem is?
    The problem is, there are no free lunches, and if and when the supplier twigs it they have to rebill, and that can be a lot if its gone on for years

    And how exactly are they going to twig? All they get are meter readings, they have nothing to go on. It's the DNO's fault, not the customers anyway.

    I'd find the exact times it kick in off-peak then plan my usage accordingly. I'm sure when I had E7 I used to hear a clunk when it switched over.
