question about van rentals

Hi,
I just bought a set of sofas and need to collect them . I was wondering about van rentals. The sofas are of ..... one 2 seater of 7 ft length and 3 ft depth and two single seaters of 4 ft length and 3 ft depth. I think I need to hire a LWB van.

Also I am relatively new in UK and have got an international driving license. Does anyone know of any cheap van rental comanies in southampton and also is there a problem driving it in international license?

I don't think you'll find it easy to rent one with an International Licence.

Rather than hire a van, you'd be better off hiring a Man & Van.

Bet there's several, offering their services, in your local paper.

Work out not much more than doing it yourself, when you consider van cost, insurance & fuel & time!

& you don't need to lift the sofas as much, either!

I reckon you could fit that lot in a SWB.

But as above it will prolly be cheaper and less hassle just to find a local man & van
