How do we go about booking a helicopter trip to the grand canyon BEFORE we go? I suffer quite badly from travel sickness (even the garden swing makes me sick! lol) is the helicopter flight even advisable? I would hate to waste a day of my holiday being sick.
Also do we need to book a venue to renew our wedding vows BEFORE we go or can we just turn up and get it done over there? (not sure exactly what we want yet?!)
I'm sure as my flight dates get nearer I will be back with more questions, thanks in advance for any help.pinkpinkfizz

pinkpinkfizz - you will have a great time!! You can get married in Vegas easily enough when you get there as long as have your passports and proof of where you are staying.

I suffer from travel sickness too so I was a bit wary when I first went on a helicopter trip at the Grand Canyon as i'd been sick when we'd been before in a small plane , but it was a lot smoother in the helicopter and I didn't feel sick at all. Did another helicopter trip there and that was fine too so I thought i'd found the only method of transport that I didn't feel sick in , but unfortunately that was dashed when I suffered from travel sickness on a helicopter trip in Hawaii.
Sorry , that doesn't really help you , but I would definitely risk it as it's so worth doing. Maybe you could try taking some anti sickness tablets or try those wristbands for travel sickness.Same old same old since 20080 -

Top 3 would be the Signature Hotel at MGM, the Bellagio and the Wynn with the Venetian a close 4th.0 -

We have booked to go to Las Vegas for 4 nights early December so we are there when the Hatton Mayweather fight takes place. We have booked our flight and hotel (Luxor) through Expedia and all our flights are with American Airlines, from Gatwick to Las Vegas, changing at Dallas. My only worry is on the way home, the gap between arriving at Dallas and getting next flight is only 45 mins . Therefore my 2 questions are:
Will our luggage be automatically transferred onto the next flight as it is with the same airline
Will that be enough time!! If the flight from Las Vegas to Dallas is running late, what will happen then?
Thanks in advance!!*Don't let the b******s get you down*

If both flights are with the same carrier then your luggage will be automatically transferred to the second flight.
If you are too late for the flight to the UK, with them being with the same carrier, they have to get you on the next flight. However flights back to the UK aren't that regular so they may put you on a flight to another destination in the US to catch another flight to the UK.0 -
Hey all
I have a couple of questions.
Im going to vegas soon and wondered would be it cheaper to exchange money from GBP to USD in the UK or over in vegas.
Also, is it adviseable to spend on my credit card while over in vegas? im assuming that visa/mastercard would work out the interest rate for me?
thanks for any advice:eek:0 -

Everything you need to know is in there.
Nationwide or post office credit card and a nationwide debit card are ur best bets, all expalined in that link.0
