Bathroom floor repair and lounge roof

I have had a leak in my bathroom due to the seal deteriorating round the bath. The floor underneath the bath is now damp and water started leaking through the roof of my lounge below. The bowing in the roof is quite significant though I have pierced a hole in the sealing to drain any remaining water out and haven't used the shower since.
I haven't had any quotes yet but my home insurance has an excess of £350 on it, so if the cost of the works is less than that I'll just pay it out myself and not claim.
For this kind of work am I looking at more than £350, considering i reckon i'll need the floor ripped up and the lounge roof repaired. I have a small bathroom and the affected area appears to not stretch further than the length of the bath and it's not really that damp to the eye or touch.
I have a guy coming to look tomorrow, i'd just like to be prepared in case he tells me a sky high price.
Thanks

Re-skimming and redecorating the ceiling will cost a fair chunk of your £350 without considering the cost of the bathroom.
You need to consider the impact on your home insurance cost of putting a claim in though so £350 excess is not the only cost of putting in a claim.Thinking critically since 1996....0 -
I got a quote from someone yesterday, broken down as follows:
Bathroom £3950
Full strip of bathroom, floor, ceiling etc.
Treat all wooden beam, fit new treated wooden flooring, plaster wall, new ceiling, refit all bathroom items
Lounge roof £2125
Removal of damaged ceiling, treat all wooden beams, fit new plaster board ceiling, treat tape/skim coat all joints, fit new ceiling rose
Kitchen £595
Removal of damaged ceiling, treat wooden beams, fit new ceiling, treat tape.skim coat all joints, fit 6 new spotlights
Remove Debris £180
Total £6850
Would this seem like a reasonable cost for this work?
This will definitely be going through my home insurance.
Thanks.0
