And yes you should, but a worn tyre is not a fault, nor is an underperforming tyre.
They will only take any notice if the tyres are not legal.
UK law requires car tyres to have a minimum tread depth of 1.6mm in a continuous band around the central three quarters of the tyre. It doesnt require them not to be below that across the whole tyre, so worn on the inside could well be perfectly legal.
The likes of Halfrauds will "recommend" you change the tyres when they are below 3mm but that doesnt mean (a) you should or (b) its a legal requirement to do so0 -
I don't think all 4 tyres are playing up. It seems only front 2, specifically front right one which is causing vibration/shuddering. You reckon budget or premium tyres are good?0

If you use the likes of BlackCircles, you will see feedback on the tyre types.
Quality varies within brands so you cant predict any particular brands individual tyre model will be good or bad.
Avoid the cheap and nasty tyres though and usually the "special offer" tyre by some weird chinese brand isnt going to be great either.0 -

So it needs balancing. Ten minutes and a tenner. Or get it done with the new tyre if you need one (it ought to be done as a matter of course then)0 -
I have already got the wheel balancing done, has not made much of a difference tbh0

Guess what guys, got a call from Car Giant and they are happy to replace and pay for front 2 tyres. So glad justice has been done !!!0

Good result - I would still get the tracking done though or at least keep an eye on the inside of the tyres (turn wheel full lock and check - you should be able to see all the tread.Totally Debt Free & Mortgage Free Semi retired and happy0

It's worth pointing out that as the driver of the car you are responsible for checking that the tyres are in a good and legal condition before getting in the vehicle.
It sounds like you didn't check the vehicle over very well when you bought it. Did you even look at the tyres or under the car at all?0 -
Hi Takman,
I did have a look at tyres from outside, they looked all ok. It was actually down inside of the car I could not have a look at , there was no way I could have done it if I am not missing anything.0
