Listing showing UK only filter

I have a problem with a listing I put on a couple of days ago.
Listing was 2 of 3 in same category and everything the same but this one is not showing.
Phoned eBay and they found it but only when " UK only" was ticked on postal area filter. It is still only showing when I click UK (it's usually on default settings which is 50 miles from my postcode)
Can someone tell me why one would be different?
Also, can someone tell me how to make the default setting "UK only" on my posting filters?

  • Why not just look for it in my eBay "active selling" section?

Go to Myebay, then Account tab, then Site Preferences (if necessary click 'Show All') and then edit Posting and Packaging.
Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!

That's what I do- look in active selling but it didn't come up.
I changed the default area on left hand side of page to UK only whilst looking for it.
The other listings came up as normal so why doesn't this? It came up with UK only.
Surely that means that unless a potential buyer puts Ukonly then they won't see it either?

Sorry I don't mean posting prefs etc I mean Item location on the left of page.it is set to default - 50 miles from my postcode but I want it to be UK only as my default. I can change at the time but I want to set that as my default all the time and there is no way of doing it.

I still don't know why one item is not showing unless I set this to "UK only" but he others are.

No, different buyers get different results depending on what browser they are on, what part of the country, mobile app or something else, basically whatever eBays search system feels like.

I'm still not sure you know how to find your listings in My eBay or was this not the point of your post?

Yes of course I know how to find my listing and no that wasn't the point of my post.

Listed 3 items at the same time ,same category etc but only 2 were showing even the day after.
On my eBay ( left of page) item location is set to default which is s.everal miles from my post code. On changing that to UK only I managed to find my item.
Online chat on eBay did the same thing - found it when location was changed to UK only.
My point is why do I have to alter settings to find it when I don't for the other 2 items listed?

Also, why can't I make "UK only" my default setting for "item location. I have to change it every time.
