Any way of trialing a monitor?

Options
im considering a widescreen monitor, either 32" or slightly larger (flat or curved, not too fussed), is there any way of 'trialing' one for a few days/week to see if i like it or not?

Cheeky question i know, but dont want to spend £250 or more only to not like it :o

I don't know if Costco in the U.K. Have the same policy, but in the USA it's certainly possible to buy one from them, use it for a week then take it back for a refund with no questions asked... did this a couple of years ago for a trade show.

Edit: I just checked, there is a 90 day return policy.
For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple and wrong.
  • You can use the 14 day refund policy for most retailers.

I was just going to say, buy it online and use the distance selling regulations (though they're not called that now but the same principle applies) to send it back if you don't like it. The only caveat with this as such as you may have to pay the return postage and look after the monitor in the meantime.

    Thanks all
Was hoping you'd say that, going to use the popular online retailer beginning with 'Ama###' as I have Prime, so will try it for a week and I think return postage is only £4

    Perfect, many thanks
