    Soak away and/or storm drain is what I *think* the guy said. I've looked at the other driveways that have been done on my road recently and they all have a long bit of ACO drain across the front or back of the drive.

    Soak away on your property will be OK, into a storm drain and you'll need planning.

    Edit: And reading your link that's what Solihull Council say.
