2 Days at Alton Towers

2 adults going to Alton Towers for 2 days shortly, I've not been for years and years but you used to be able to buy a heavily discounted ticket for the next day inside the park (I remember it being called Towers Two and being a huge saving which my parents would take advantage of after getting us in with a 2 for 1 deal). Does this still exist?
That is to say do I want to use a 2 for 1 voucher on the day admitting us both for £52 then be able to pay a small sum, say £10, for a second day totalling £72.
Or do I just want to buy the 2 day advance ticket from Alton Towers website for £39.50 each?
