Mostly a question on behalf of the girlfriend.
She's coming into some money (sale of her mothers house) and is looking for advice.
She's a bit old school when it comes to getting advice. What I'm hoping to avoid is her getting advice from a so called 'independent' financial advisor who's actually linked to one of the banks and will sell a product rather than getting advice.
So are there actually reputable independent advisors out there?
Or can you recommend somewhere else to get advice?
