Problem with new LG 55UJ63 4K tv

A friend of mine has bought a LG 55UJ63 4K tv a week ago. At first the picture was good, but last night she noticed red spots/blotches on peoples faces and some yellow blotch on what I presume would be a shiny part of the faces (like the forehead). That was on all channels, as long as the pucture was on the bright side, darker pictures were not showing it.
I did tell her to try to play with the picture settings to see if she can get the picture back to good, but now I don't know if it will do any good, I don't understand why the picture would be good for a week, then turn to carp.
What should she do?

She should do a retune/factory reset. Make sure 'shop mode' is off, and try the different modes, and sources (plug a blu-ray player in or something.
Sounds like contrast/brightness/backlight/colour is set way up too high.
Turn off all the 'enhancements' because they're usually 'not enhancing'!0 -
On LGs you want brightness around 55-60 and contrast around 80-90, sharpness set to 0. The Movie preset is the most accurate out of the box for colour. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

They've gone back to the shop with the tv, but the tv was working fine there, so that was a waste of time.
They played with the settings and turned off all enhancements, now they end up with a picture they like.
