We found whale and womb music helped. You know what uranium is, right? It's this thing called nuclear weapons. And other things. Like lots of things are done with uranium. Including some bad things.

this is like magic medicine to get my youngest back to sleep,
I have the audio saved on my phone

My nephew woke every night and joined his parents in their bed until he was 7 years old. My sister could put him back in his own 3 or 4 times during the night but she would wake up with him in the bed again.
AS a baby and toddler he never slept for more then three hours at night.0 -
My daughter did this. At one point she woke every hour! I soon realised it was because she liked the cuddles. I'd get her out the cot, cuddle her up and feed her but she would only have a few mouthfuls and sleep. Then when i tried to remove her she would start sucking again! She obviously wasn't hungry, it was an attention thing.
So long as you son is fed and bathed and comfy I'd ignore him. Sounds harsh but otherwise he will get used to the attention and might wake up even more frequently. He will soon realise its pointless. Having said that, if his cry sounds different in that he might have colic etc then don't ignore that.0 -
My daughter didn't sleep through the night until she was 2 and a half. She was premature but even when she didn't need a feed she still woke up and got in with me. It was a nightmare but i'm still alive. She's 17 now and can sleep for England. They're all different, go with the flow, if they sleep better in your bed with you, let them, i don't know any teenagers that still sleep with Mum and Dad. I don't get why people stress about them "sleeping through" they all do it when they're ready.0

Eldest slept through every night from 6 weeks old and still loves his sleep now.
Middle son slept through from around 8 weeks and although he went through a phase of being up fairly early (but not obscenely early) in the toddler to 8 year old age, he also loves his sleep.
Youngest was a blooming nightmare and still hasn't sorted his sleeping routine out at the age of 19! Think he takes after his mum......I'm a 5 hour a night person if I am lucky. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0
