my wifes neice, bought a printer from currys. i asked her if the cables were included, she said oh yes of course.
when she installed the printer there was no usb cable. so she went to currys and bought one. (without asking anyone in the family).

just guess how much???
try 15 quid!!!

there really should be a law against this sort of selling.

It happens all the time with printers unfortunately. It's not on that the sales people said that they were included though.

i agree, it's quite disgusting really. i bought a lexmark E120N in Jan. really happy with the printer etc but no cable included (which i already knew before buying but still...) and yes, poundland have even started selling the Belkin brand usb cables and a pound is all is a usb cable is worth, NOT £15 bloody quid!!

I had the same problem last week when I bought one from Currys Digital, I bought one for £14.99 but when I got home I searched a high and low for one and eventually found one that came with my BT Hub so I took that one back. To me selling a printer without the USB cable is like selling a cheese sandwich without the cheese, totally useless without it!!!
