High charge card balances - good or bad?

I'm the sole director of a ltd company. My income is about £33k from the last tax year's Self Assessment.
In recent months, the company is growing, and I'm running as much as possible through a supplementary card on my Amex charge card account for the points. I've been with Amex since January 2015 and generally put about £3k per month onto it and always pay on time.
In recent months, it's climbed to more like £7k (i.e. 3x the salary on my last Self Assessment). They're still getting paid on time etc. but I'm wondering if this might raise eyebrows if I ever apply for a new card etc.
As far as I know, Amex report the statement balance so I could pay some of the balance off before the statement is generated to make the reported number smaller. Would this be advantageous from the perspective of future applications? It could cost a few £ in interest and I believe that Amex also use the statement balance to calculate "spending power" so I might be more likely to hit my limit in future if I do this (currently about £45k).

As long as it's paid it's unlikely they'll have a problem. If it's another charge card then you can hold two charge cards and two credit cards with Amex. If you apply too soon you lose the welcome bonus on the charge card.
I've been with Amex 9 years and never had a transaction refused anywhere in the world. I travel a lot!0
