    Hi all,

I've just worked out that day 56 (alleged offence 07/07/17 - day 56 is 01/09/17) is two days after my our deadline to appeal to POPLA (28 days after operator's notice of rejection - 30/08/17). So when do you suggest is the best time to submit my POPLA appeal?

Also any guidance on my draft appeal above would be most welcome.

    Thanks!

We know that PoPLA appeals can be submitted a couple of days after day 28 without problems. However, if you submit it online on the last day, there is no way on earth that parking lie will be able to get a NTK to you by day 56.
So, include a "no NTK received so no keeper liability" as appeal point 1, then include all the other relevant points from post 3 of the NEWBIES.

Post the draft here before submitting it.
Save it as a pdf once approved by the regulars here making sure images are embedded rather included as links. That way the assessor has to look at them. Put a comment in the online appeal box to the effect that the appeal is attached as a pdf. Don't forget to attach it before you submit it.

    Thanks!

The bad news is I've wasted your time and my own. The good news is that my friend spoke to the Store Manager, who agreed to cancel the ticket.

Thank you to everyone who helped.

From what I've said about the PCN and the rejection from PE, neither qualifies as a NTK does it?

That has to be a seperate posted document entitled "Notice to Keeper"?

I very much doubt it , think of all of these notices as INVOICES and there is no mandatory of statutory wording they have to use, but the preferred wording would be PCN because a council one is a pcn and they like to confuse people by making them think its "official"

so Parking Charge Notice or PCN is the most appropriate for private invoices

it is "us" that differentiate between them by tring to find out if its an NTD windscreen ticket for the driver to find

or a postal notice (NTK) that is addressed to the KEEPER because a PPC has obtained the keeper details from the DVLA when they are allowed to do so under their KADOE contract

this can be more complicated if its a leased or hire vehicle etc (NTO or NTK) , so as members we have to have a way of trying to decipher what went on and how the notice or notices were obtained , plus who was the recipient

it is not a regulated industry unlike the council and police based systems

well done on getting a landholder cancellation

I would now tell the BB holder to register a complaint on the main ASDA website and insist that their VRM is placed on a whitelist due to the EA2010

how do I know ? because I have done this (even though I did not have a pcn to deal with) - a pre-emptive strike if you will (as a BB holder myself)

asda have confirmed in writing to me that I am covered in ALL of their uk car parks, so including the Stockport one
