    Hello all,

I am ready to send off the Directions Questionnaire however I have few questions:

Can I email questionnaire to County Court Business Centre, Northampton?

To serve a copy on Gladstones, shall I use the address of service given on the Directions Questionnaire that they had sent me?

Hearing venue - I have looked up online and the closest county court is Willesden County Court and Family Court. Is it the case that I specify the Court or simply state 'defendants' home court'?
As Gladstone have asked for case to be dealt with on papers, I will enter the following text, as advised:
“The Defendant opposes the Claimant’s request for special directions, and requests that the case be listed for an oral hearing at the defendant’s home court, pursuant to CPR 26.2A(3)”.

Lastly, do I need to specify reason why this court(as the question is asking me to do so)?

    Thank you

Send your completed DQ to the same email address that you sent your Defence.

Send a copy to the Gladstones - address on your Claim Form.

Put Willesden County Court - because it is my nearest County Court.

Yes and yes to the first questions.

And you might get a hearing at Clerkenwell which seems to hoover up lots of cases. Never heard of Willesden hearing a parking claim but you could put it down, and see what gets allocated as your nearest. You don't need a reason except to say you believe it is your nearest court.

Thank you for your prompt replies!

In this case, I will email DQ that I can download from the link provided.

Last question (hopefully) has arisen - in the signature box on the online form, can I just type my name or enter electronic signature?

Unless it's an interactive form I'd print it out and sign/date it by hand then scan it.

    Dear all,

Today I have received Notice of Discontinuation from Gladstones.

    It states:

"The claimant discontinues all of this claim against the defendant.
I certify that I have served a copy of this notice to every other party to the proceedings."

Do I need to respond to this or do anything else?

All you need to do is check with the court that they have had it. Post from parking companies seems to have a habit of going astray.

Post going astray - not surprising at all....

I will call the court tomorrow.

I am so relieved that this nightmare is over!
