Internet connection - whats the cheapest? / best VFM

Hey i have got no internet in my house but i do have an NTL box. I have budgeted for around £180, anyone got any ideas? Cheers

I would recommend Virgin Media but it depends on exactly what you need it for.
If its going to be shared by a few users and its going to be used for gaming/downloading, then you want something reliable and fast and virgin media provides the vest VFM even though it may not be the cheapest.
Are you paying any BT line rental? If so by switching to VM, you can put that towards the virgin media broadband cost as they give you free line rental.
Personally I'm with Sky becauase they're package of tv, phone, internet and bt line rental is cheaper than the lot with virgin media but the connection isn't nearly as reliable and fast (even in the same location.)
