Roofing insulation left in garden overnight?
Lanark
My roof is being replaced this week, but the roofers have had to delay it until tomorrow. They knocked on the door at 8am (I was still half asleep) and told me of the delay, which I had no problem with.
However, they said that they would leave the materials in my garden overnight, including four rolls of rock wool and a load of Kingspan Therma panels - they've made the panels into a makeshift shelter for the rock wool, with a sloping 'roof'. The panels look like some kind of polystyrene. I'd asked about what happens if it rains and was told before they unloaded it that a little rain would be ok for the rockwool but a lot would ruin it.
Now that they've left, I feel quite anxious at having all this in my garden, especially as there will be light rain this afternoon. Am I worrying unnecessarily?

Should be fine. It's only if they're left out for ages and there is a lot of rain then it starts to degrade the product.
If you're really nervous, go throw a tarpaulin over the lot.0 -
Thanks, it's really been putting me off of my work this morning, so if it'll be ok then I can get on with it haha0
