Balance Transfer Explained?

Hi,

Hoping someone can help me with this.

If i pay for a holiday on my credit card, can i then transfer credit from another credit account into the credit card account i used to pay for the holiday, to then pay that balance?

Effectively paying off the balance in full so the credit card company see it as a full payment and are more likely to raise credit limit in future..

You can BT the balance.

However, it's unlikley to cause them to increase the limit, as you will have taken further credit and incurred additional debt elsewhere.

Yes you can its called a balance transfer however this wont be a factor in credit decisions

That is correct, however, does the bank see this?

i.e can they see that its a balance transfer from another credit account as opposed to *real* money from a debit account for example?
