Difference between 'share of Freehold' & long lease

I can't post a screenshot I had, so the areas I'd suggest are:
* Seven Dials (draw lines from The Drive, to Old Shoreham Road, up Dyke Road, down Highcroft Villas back down Stanford Road, Prestonville Road, down Davigdor Road and back to the Drive). It's a pretty nice, safe area, lots of lovely Victorian conversions. Parking is resident only.
* The Golden Triangle (Preston Park Avenue, Preston Drove, down Ditchling Road as far as Florence Road and back to Preston Park Avenue) - lovely, family area, expensive but super safe and very well thought of. Think tree-lined roads! Parking is resident only, but with the wide roads it's often not a problem.
* Round Hill (between Princes Road, Mayo Road, Richmond Road and Ditchling Road) - you might even get a smaller house here, certainly a maisonette). Parking is resident only and not usually an issue.
* Hanover (Islington Road, Washington St, Belgrave St, Albion Hill) - no further East unless you're happy to climb a HUGE hill every day. Cheaper area, smaller houses, but fantastic community, and you could possibly get a house for £400k here. Considered the 'wrong' side of the Lewes Road, in case you're concerned about the appearance of where you live! Parking more difficult as roads are tiny.
* Queens Park is okay - lots of young families. Houses are not as nice IMO, but you get more for your money. Not considered to be a 'really nice' part of town, but not bad, either. Parking variable. Avoid the south end of Queens Park as it boarders on Kemptown...
* ...and I wouldn't live in Kemptown now if you paid me. It used to be nicer, but it's so druggy now I wouldn't want to live there.
Broadly, anywhere around Preston Park, Dyke Road park or London Road station is going to be pretty good, if you avoid the main roads. Parts of the town south of Davigdor Road (where you were looking) are also nice, but road-dependent.

KiKi' <-- See that? It's called an apostrophe. It does not mean "hey, look out, here comes an S".0
