Door strip or something else?

I have a completely wooden door in the utility room that opens to the side alley. It has a wooden frame all the way around. Apart from cold air in winter, we sometimes get slugs coming through in wet weather.

What can I use to create a complete seal around the whole door when it's closed? Foam strips would probably get damaged by wet weather.

We used some foam strip stuff called P Strip. It's name is due to its shape. It improved draughts a lot in our back lobby.
Re the slugs, my sister gets these coming through the cat flap into her utility room! Could this be how yours are getting in?
